Updated 5/25/2016 Click to Check out our Events Page for more things happening in Glassport!

It is with great pride that the Glassport Development Corporation announces that through our efforts in bringing in several investors and hosting a meeting in cooperation with the mayor and all of Borough Council, that the former middle school / Glassport high school has been approved for a state funded grant clearing the way for the Rodriguez Associates investment group to proceed with a 9.5 million dollar project to convert the school building into a senior housing project.  This project will bring 55 new apartments into the renovated building.  It will be a secure building with many amenities for the senior occupants. It will also enhance an already great neighborhood and bring a much needed increase to our population. We are happy to have done our part in making this project a reality and we extend our heartfelt thanks to the Borough Council ,Mayor Bradley, and all local, county, state and federal officials without who's cooperation this could not have happened. Working together we can accomplish almost anything!

Sincerely,

John A. D’Angelo
President
Glassport Development Corporation
